Make any Blogger' widget sticky

Hey fellas! If you do blogging, then you must know to customize your template: How make any widget sticky? You should already know about Widget. Just Start here. I's always interested in finding a trick like that...

Procedure:

1# First You should know the Widget's ID, the simplest way to do it is:
  • Open Widget to edit it. This edit button is shown right at down-right corner. Click it to open the edit-widget.
  • Now there will be a new opened window of your browser [may be different].
  • Just in the address bar, at the end, see the Widget's ID. Normally it is HTML1, HTML2 and so on. [See screenshot below]
    How to Find Widget's ID?
2# Now, Go to Template>Edit HTML.
3# Press Ctrl+F to find something [you must choose the template-edit box by clicking it, first]. Write something like:

Hit Enter to find the above piece.
4# Now, just above it. Copy and paste the following text:

.bs_sticking {background:#f2f2f2 !important; position:fixed !important; top:0; z-index:9999; box-shadow:0px 10px 4px -5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); margin-top: 0; position:relative\9 !important;}

How to Submit Blogger Sitemap To Google Search Engine With out any generator?

In order to increase your blog traffic from search engines, you must consider submitting a sitemap to Google. For blogger blogs. it is very easy to generate a sitemap and send it to Google webmaster tools. If you have just started a new blog with Blogger.com then work on it and after posting some great content submit its sitemap to Google for indexation of all of your pages and content. Don’t be late on this, because you don’t know how important sitemaps are for Google crawler. And submitting sitemaps is also the part of Off-page SEO.
If you have an old blog which is having a large number of posts/pages i.e more than 500 then you should generate multiple sitemaps for your blog and submit them to Google. Now just follow given steps below and instantly submit your blogger sitemap to Google in minutes. In this tutorial we won’t use any Google Sitemap Generator.

How to Submit Blog sitemap to Google?

In order to submit your Blog’s sitemap to Google first log-in to your Google webmaster account by using your Gmail id. In most cases, all Google accounts are associated with one Gmail ID including Blogger, Feedburner, Youtube, Google Plus etc.
After signing to your Webmaster account, click the blog you want to submit the sitemap to Google, and after clicking the blog you’ll see separate page for that blog, so at left side find the Optimization tab and under that click sitemaps, and now you’ll have to click the “Add/Test Sitemap” button at top right of the page. Now just add below piece of code to that and click submit:
For blogs having posts less than 500 submit this sitemap:
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
And for blogs having more than 500 posts you can submit multiple sitemaps like below:
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=501&max-results=1000
So you can use this way to submit your blogger sitemaps to Google, without using any sitemap generator, because this is the default blogger sitemap style.
Let me know by commenting if you got any errors or difficulty while adding sitemap to Google, also share this post with your friends, so they can also get benefits of it.

How to Remove Subscribe To Posts(Atom) In Blogger?

In Blogger default templates, there is a link namely “Subscribe to: Post (Atom)” which appears below every post sometimes at left side or at center. It also appears on Blog’e home page. By clicking this link a visitor can subscribe to your RSS feeds. but instead of this unnatural link, there are many other awesome ways to give visitor the opportunity to subscribe to your blog feeds.
Mostly people, especially new blogger users dislike this link. They want to make their blog more beautiful and shiny. So and therefore, they want to remove this link as quickly as they find a solution for it. There are many tricks have been shared on the internet about this issue. You can remove this link by using many tricks, but this is the simplest & quickest method, because by using this method we will just hide it from your blog by using a CSS property. 3 Methods Of Getting Traffic Through google plus.

I am always looking for ways of getting more and more web traffic to my blog and I have tried so many strategies which many are working for me now. I just hope before the year runs out I’ll be getting 20k visits per day :) .

Google plus social network has been out for a while now and people have already started comparing it with Facebook and Twitter. Google plus is one great community every bloggers and webmasters should participate in and gain even more exposure with.

We all know that Google is the number one search engine online, and they are the giant setting all the rules for us bloggers to follow. So doing things right with Google will surely give you that traffic and quality backlink you need. But Before I move further, let’s discuss the benefits of Google plus social networking:

→ You will get indexed way faster than normal

→ You will get high quality backlinks

→ You will get quality traffic from the big giant their self

→ You’ll even get exposure to likeminded bloggers and business associates.

Tell me, what more can you ask for? :D
So Google+ will surely help/ push your blogging carrier to the next level. But first before all that, what we need the most in our blogging carrier is “traffic”, right? After you read this post, go try it out and see if there won’t be changes in your traffic stat :D

3 Combined Ways Of Getting Traffic Through Google Plus

Today is the second Monday of the week, so I am not going to bore you with long talk, I’ll just share with you, my little way of getting traffic to my blog using Google plus social network…

Use of hash tags:

Ahhh… I just learned how to use harsh tag effectively about 2 weeks ago and it feels great using them. The first time I used the hash tag on one of my posts, the impact I got was like x times two of what I was getting from my Google+ network.

One of the main reasons we use social media is to get exposed to a wider reach, right? Exactly like twitter, the Google plus hash tag gets your post from beyond your friends, circles, communities to a wider audience. Take for example; search for #bloggingtips in your community search bar. If the result shows up, check and see how many users are in that hash search result.
Tip: Use as many hash tags when making the comment to your post, like the example image above. Using more hash tag will cut your blog post to even more and wider audience…
Hey! If you have not started using the Google plus hash tag, start using it now to help your blog reach audience you’ve always dreamt of and gain more traffic from what you have been getting :)

Join as many communities as possible:

I have joined like 10 active communities and these communities sure rocks :D . Some of these guys +1 your post, while some share the post to their cycle and while some comment and give you props (but only if your post is good).
Tips on how to pick and use your communities effectively: when joining a community, make sure you join the community with larger users and check if the community is that active.
How do you know if the community is active: simple! Just check the latest post link, or comment made by it users.
After you must have find yourself a better community, make sure before you drop any links read community guidelines so you won’t be flag as spammer. After that make sure you use hash tag (as a combination) in the comment area, so you can double your traffic you get from Google+

Linking your Site to your Google plus account:

We all know what this last tip does, right? In case you don’t know, it helps an author claim his site, makes your site more visible and which we all know it’s a good thing, right?

Now with this, it goes beyond just your Google social network. Doing this, you can also be getting valuable traffic from Google search engine as well. Now tell me, who wouldn’t want that.
Last Note: Google plus is my new found place of valuable traffic which i am currently falling in love with :) and I intend to dig deeper into the social network to see if I can find even more ways of getting more valuable traffic from them.
A word from a wise: Remember in life that there is no such thing as limit; we are the people limiting our selves. Open your mind and soul and break that limitation…
Now you have it, Google+ can truly help in getting more and more traffic to your website and blogs, but as long as you are doing it effectively, accurately and well.
Do you have anything to add up? Do you like Google plus or do you hate Google plus? Please use the comment section below and drop your comment and let’s make the post as lively as possible.
Do you have comment, question, thoughts or extra tips to add to the ones above? Please do by using the comment box below. Remember that your comments, questions and thoughts are highly welcomed and much appreciated.

5 Reasons That Show You Are A Lazy Blogger

Let me be the first to admit that I am also a lazy blogger. Yes! You too are a lazy blogger, because I know that you know deep down in you that there are a lot of things you want to do to your blog but you just haven’t done yet. Don’t think the reason you haven’t done those things you wanted to do is because you’re busy, the main reason is simply called laziness…
Let’s check our Wikipedia to know the simple but powerful word called laziness:

Laziness (also called indolence) is disinclination to activity or exertion despite having the ability to do so. Now you have it :D
Laziness can grow to become a habit which is very bad for both you and your blog. Keeping a healthy blog does not only mean you clean and maintain your blog frequently, it also means that you check and fix things around your blog, like; web traffic, commenting, socializing e.t.c…
Let me tell you a little story about one of my “lazy” attitude that I finally gave up: In February 2013 (which is this year), I said to myself that it’s time to take my blogs to the next level of making money. I decided that I want to join the affiliate marketing world. I have read some great books and E-books that are of the chain, I have even consulted and collected some advice from my blogger friends but still I was just too busy to join the affiliate world of marketing. Now I have the skill because I have read enough books and a little bit of guidance from my blogger friends, now it’s time to enter the battle field and applied what I have learnt, but… I was too damn busy to start the affiliate business. I wonder what was wrong with me, I mean I can do other stuffs, like; promoting my blog post over like 150 communities and social networks a day, I have the time to write posts for all my blogs, even have the time to maintain and create other blogs, but I just don’t have the spare time to start one thing that is also important.
I thought it was time but I keep postponing the task until one day I discovered that the problem is not time management but the main issue is “laziness”. I had to flush the laziness down the toilet and now, I am an affiliate marketer :) . I started this month and I have sold one product so far :)

5 Reasons That Shows You Are Also A Lazy Blogger

You might not agree with me that you are also a lazy blogger but here are some few things you do that shows to the public that you are a lazy blogger :)

You do not guest post:

You might not see this as laziness but I do. You have blog that is going 3yrs and you haven’t done any guest post? Why haven’t you done at-list one or 4 guest post in your 3yrs of blogging? If you have not done guest posting before or you have done just one, then you are lazy but if you fall into this category and you feel it’s not laziness, please do let us know by using the comment box below

You don’t post at your posting time:

If you are posting every Monday’s and Thursday’s around 9:04am GMT and suddenly you shifted the days to Wednesday’s and Sunday’s 4:04pm GMT. After a while, you shifted your blog post to once a week. The only reason I see here is, you’re a lazy blogger that is so lazy to come up with posts topic and therefore, losing the spirit of blogging.

You do not visit your commentators’ blog:

We all know that it takes time for someone to comment on any blog. Once somebody comments on your blog, it is good to complement the persons’ effort by going back to their blog and return the favor by commenting back on their blogs (if the post is interesting) but if you are not returning the favor, you’re a lazy blogger.
I know that some bloggers would say that it is not compulsory to visit commentators’ blog and drop a valuable comment but have you consider the huge positive impact it will also land on your blog? It will increase your web traffic, it will also give you backlinks and most of all it will attract your commentators to always come back and that can build a good relationship.

You don’t backup your blog:

You only blog two times a week and over 2yrs you have been blogging brilliantly. You have 70 plug-ins installed on your WordPress blog, you have deleted and re-upload even more plug-ins. One day, your blog crashes and the bad part is, you did not save your blogs data, which mean you don’t have a backup of your blog. Hey! You are nothing but a lazy blogger. Period :D

You are just not trying enough:

Like my elder brother would always tell me; do not play with your blog because it’s your business. When you’re being lazy, it will affect your blogging carrier by making you not advancing. My suggestion to you all bloggers is to leave those online habits and focus on what’s important, which is your blog.

One question:

Do you have any other reason that qualify a blogger as a lazy blogger? Please I’d really love to see your comments by using the comment box below to share them. Let’s keep the room lively you’all.
Do you have comments, questions and thoughts you would love to ask? Please do by using the comment box below. Remember that your comments and thoughts are highly welcomed and appreciated.
